Funeral services for Gary Frank Hodgins will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Chapel Church of God Cemetery.

Mr. Hodgins, age 68, of Meridian passed away Friday, August 26, 2016.

Gary retired after 38 years with Norfolk Southern. He was an active member of Jones Chapel Church of God. He loved hunting and was an avid sportsman, and Hot Rod specialist.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Hodgins; daughter, Kim Waddell; son, Jason Hodgins; grandchildren, Jordan Hodgins (Makaela), Dalton Hodgins, Josh Waddell, and Jared Waddell; great-granddaughter, Carsyn Reese Hodgins; mother, Ida Lois Hodgins; sisters, Gloria Evans and Debbie Scarbrough (Ray); uncle, Willie Ray Hodgins (Betty); numerous nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Drake Hodgins and father, Frank Hodgins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Jones Chapel Church of God.
