Sallie George Wedgeworth Gray Services for Sallie George Wedgeworth Gray will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. There will be a private family burial in Oxford Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cuba, Alabama. Mrs. Gray, 89, of Lauderdale, Mississippi, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Meridian, Mississippi. She was very involved in the Lauderdale County 4-H and Homemaker Clubs and was also an avid quilter. Mrs. Gray was very involved in many activities at Golden Living Center including the beautification of the center with flowers and trees. She was a regular contributor to the Meridian Star with her monthly article about Golden Living. Survivors include her three daughters, Faye Michel and husband Joey of West Point, Mississippi, Rubye Palmer and husband Danny of Meridian, Mississippi and Janis Kerstetter and husband Billy of Caledonia, Mississippi; sister, Elizabeth Bonds of Demopolis, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Major Todd Michel and wife Gianna of Fairbanks, Alaska, Sterling Michel Falkner and husband Robin of Christianna, Tennessee, Kim Hessler and husband Eric of Covington, Louisiana, Hal Kerstetter and wife Lindsay of Columbus, Mississippi, Tyler Skelton and wife Hayley of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sally Kerstetter from Caledonia, Mississippi and Stacey Evans and husband Keith of Meridian, Mississippi; daughter-in-law, Royce Frazier of Meridian, Mississippi and eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way. The family also would like to give special thanks to her extended family at Golden Living. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Estelle Campbell Wedgeworth and step-mother Clara Wedgeworth; husbands, W.C. Frazier and Parker Gray; son, Billy Frazier and siblings, Bernice Holloway, Earl Wedgeworth, Merle Weaver and Peggy Rushing. The family requests memorials be made to The 4-H Club Foundation of Mississippi, Museum Project, Box 9601, Mississippi State, Mississippi 39762.
