Funeral services for Mrs. Aamaryliss Ann Morgan will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church with the Reverends Steward McMahan and Derek Zimmermann officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites in the church cemetery. The Morgan Family will receive guests from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM prior to funeral rites in the church. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Morgan, 82, of Meridian, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Ann was born July 23, 1943. The eldest of 3 children, she grew up in Meridian's Tuxedo neighborhood. She was a graduate of Meridian High School. She was married to her high-school sweetheart, Wayne, for 62 years until his passing in 2023. She and Wayne moved to Clarkdale where they became beloved members of the community, and of New Hope Baptist Church, which they joined as members, in 1968. Following retirement, she spent her time caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by her children Lisa McMahan (Johnny), Sheila Morgan, and Cynthia Catlett (Justin); Grandchildren, Steward McMahan (Brooke), Kaleb Price, Charlee Zimmermann (Derek), Morgan Partridge, and Matthew Partridge; Great-grandchildren, Kaleigh McMahan, Alyssa McMahan, Zoe Zimmermann, Naomi Zimmermann, Lucy Zimmermann, and Lily Zimmermann. Siblings, Hugh Craven (Judy), and Nancy Carpenter (George); sisters-in-law, Dianne Delaney and Betty Hughes (Steve); and brother-in-law Bobby Morgan (Sybil), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her husband Wayne; parents, William and Irene Craven; grandson, Joshua Price; son-in-law, Mike Partridge; and brothers-in-law, Don Delaney and Lamar Reid.
Pallbearers will be Steward McMahan, Kaleb Price, Matthew Partridge, Derek Zimmermann, Johnny McMahan, Tyler Hughes, Carlos Bermudez, and Justin Catlett.
The Morgan family suggests memorials be made as donations to Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center Cancer Benevolence Fund in lieu of flowers.
