Addie Mae Moore

Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Mae Moore will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Coker’s Chapel Methodist Church with the Reverends David Keller and Davey Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Moore, 87, of Vimville, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Moore was first and foremost a Christian. She served as treasurer of her Sunday School Class at Coker’s Chapel Methodist Church where she faithfully attended as long as her health allowed. Always active in her children’s life she served in various roles including, a den mother and pee-wee substitute coach.  She loved traveling with her husband and family and was proud to have visited 47 of our 50 United States. In her working career, she served as an administrative assistant for Meridian Nursing Center and Queen City Nursing Center.

Mrs. Addie is survived by her husband of over 66 years, Brooks “Sonny” Moore; children, Pamela Branning (Lamar), Ronald Moore (Liz), and Raymond Moore (Heather). Grandchildren, Luci Brandner (Josh), Kelly Lee (Justin), Jessica Bennett (Buddy), Jonathan Moore (Sarah), Maggie Moore, Jacob Branning, Will Branning (Arrielle), Stephen Armstrong (Noel), Matthew Moore, and Anna Catherine Moore, and Sixteen Great-grandchildren. Her Brother, Bruce Harper, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Addie is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Roe and Bessie Louise Harper; and her sister, Sondra Dale Jones.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Branning, Will Branning, Jonathan Moore, Stephen Armstrong, Matthew Moore, and Justin Lee.
