Adelia "Pete" Thomas Services for Adelia "Pete" Thomas will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Richard Wallace and Reverend Tommy Jones Officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Thomas, 89, of Meridian died February 28, 2012, at Anderson South Hospital. Mrs. Thomas operated an independent business from her home and was widely recognized for her artistry as a seamstress and home interior decorator. She was an active member of Hebron Baptist Church and was a selfless contributor to the Vimville community where she resided most of her life. Survivors include her sister Ouida (Jewel) Raulins, brother Fred Thurman of Dallas, Texas, grandson Dustin Lance Thomas, and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Thomas, son Jack T. (Lucky) Thomas, and parents Helen Williamson and Judson Lewis Thurman. Pallbearers will be Buddy Rasberry, Jerry Creel, Leonard Bennett, George Dearman, Bobby Murphy, Jimmy Moore, Billy Price, and Mark McDonald. The family requests that memorials be made to Hebron Baptist Church Building Fund.
