Adeline Webre LaBruyere Memorial services for Adeline Webre LaBruyere will be at Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church in Meridian, MS., Thursday, August 15th at 4 pm with visitation one hour prior to service and at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie, La on Saturday, August 17th at 11 am, visitation one hour prior to service. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. LaBruyere, age 85, of Hoover, AL, died Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Mrs. LaBruyere was born in Vacherie, LA in December of 1927. After graduating from Saint James High School in Saint James, LA, she went to New Orleans, LA to work for Commodity Credit Corporation, where she met her husband of 65 years. Adeline was a devoted wife and mother of three children. She was a member of Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, AL. Her passion was gardening and taking care of the yard. Survivors include her husband, Lucius (Lutz) S. LaBruyere, Jr.; son, Kenneth LaBruyere and wife, Dixie, Meridian, MS; daughters, Evelyn Harrison and Carol Breland, Brandon, MS; grandchildren Shan McCarty (Jim) of Brandon, MS; Sean Harrison (Danielle) of Haverhill, MA; Renee Hargrove (Blake) of Huntsville, AL; Meredith Robinson (Chord) and Kevin Breland (Elizabeth) of Brandon, MS and Kelly Breland of Birmingham, Ala and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Cecile Miller Anderman and Emeranthe Hymel (Harry) of Vacherie, La; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Murphy Webre and Jeanne S. Webre of Vacherie, La.
