A memorial service to celebrate the life of Adrian Michael Hill will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Tim Buchanan officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
With heavy hearts we share the passing of Adrian Michael Hill, a beloved son, husband, father, and brother who was also a dedicated friend and healthcare professional. Adrian, age 52, passed away at home on March 10, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Adrian had many passions in life, but none compared to his deep love for his family. He shared over 21 years of marriage and friendship with Leia Agnew Hill, and they were blessed with three children: Anna Lauryn Hill (7), Adrian Brooks Hill (12), and Michael Carpenter Hill (16). Adrian loved his family deeply. He treasured Leia and took pride in supporting his children's dreams and cheering them on through every milestone. Adrian dedicated himself to his family every day, and it stood as his most significant accomplishment. His commitment to being a loving and supportive husband and parent defined his life's purpose.
Adrian had an extraordinary gift for taking care of people. In his professional life, Adrian served the community as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Rush Hospital for 22 years. His commitment to his work was evident in his dedication to providing comfort and compassionate care to his patients. He was highly respected by his colleagues and will be remembered for his expertise and caring nature. He saw his work not just as a job but as an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those he served.
Adrian grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where the ocean wasn't just a backdrop-it was a way of life. Whether surfing or skateboarding, the feel of the wind and the rhythm of the waves called to him, shaping his deep love for the beach and his rain-or-shine commitment to flip-flops, no matter the occasion. This coastal upbringing sparked a passion for travel, a pursuit he believed nourished his soul and expanded his worldview. Yet, no matter how far he roamed, the ocean was always home. His final resting place will be in the waters and sands of Cocoa Beach, where his youth will always remain, and along the rugged shores of Scotland, a place that captured his heart and claimed a piece of his soul years ago.
In death, Adrian reunites with his grandparents, Michael Carey and Vivian Hill, and his father-in-law, John L. Agnew. He leaves behind his wife and children along with his parents, Denise and Claude King, Mike and Julie Hill; sister, Hannah Hill; brother, Adam Hill (wife Charlotte); mother-in-law, Dianne Agnew; brothers-in-law, David Agnew (wife Michelle) and John Agnew (wife Paula); and sister-in-law, Gayla Buchanan (husband Tim), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are his brothers through love and friendship: David Agnew, John Agnew, Tim Buchanan, Mark Brown, Brian Eakes, Craig Edison, John Gough, Ronald Harrison, Adam Hill, Josh Hopkins, Matt Lowlavar, and Shan Sellers.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the celebration of life service at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Meridian Community College Foundation, where a scholarship endowment will be established in his honor.
Adrian Michael Hill's memory will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those he encountered. His life will continue to inspire us. As we say our goodbyes, let's also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the love he shared with us. His memory serves as a reminder of the profound impact one person's compassion can have on the lives of many. May he forever rest in peace.
