Al Jordan Graveside services for Al Jordan will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Reverend Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Jordan, 51, of Pennington, AL, formally of Meridian, died Monday, February 21, 2011 at Rush Hospital. He was retired from Georgia Pacific, Pennington, AL. Mr. Jordan served as a volunteer firefighter and reserve deputy with the Choctaw County Sherriff's Department. Survivors include his daughter, Mallory Jordan of Starkville, MS; sister, Julie Jordan of Meridian; brother, William Jordan of Meridian; nieces, Ashley Kelly of Meridian, Haley Jordan of Meridian, Sarah Jordan of Meridian, and Casey Mardis of Meridian; aunt, Mary Jane Arledge; father and mother-in-law, Carl and Lee Chambers of Meridian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Wilma Jordan. Family and friends may sign online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5-8 at the funeral home.
