Alcide Reid Kimbrell Funeral services for Alcide Reid Kimbrell will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Episcopal Church with Reverend Brian Ponder officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Kimbrell, age 67, of Meridian, passed away Friday, October 16, 2014 at his home. Mr. Kimbrell was the owner of Insurance Solutions of Meridian. He was a member of Kimbrell Family Properties including Cloverleaf Shopping Center and Broadmoor Development Company. He was also a longtime member of Round Table Investment Club. He is survived by his wife, Alison Sanders Kimbrell; sons, Allen Kimbrell and wife, Chantel Boatner Kimbrell of Oxford, MS; Aubert Kimbrell and wife, Meredith Long Kimbrell of Alexandria, VA; and Alex Kimbrell and fiancé, Bridget Madison of Fairhope, AL; grandchildren, Add Kimbrell, Avery Kimbrell, and Rivers Kimbrell of Oxford, MS, Annabel Kimbrell and Barrett Kimbrell of Alexandria, VA; sisters, Marcia Kimbrell Shirley and husband, Harvey of Meridian, and Cathy Feltenstein of Meridian; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Kimbrell; mother, Betty Menton Kimbrell; step-mother, Laura Kimbrell Bass; sister, Dorothy Carr Reeves and husband, Nelson; and brother-in-law, Guy Feltenstein. The family request memorials be made to the charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Dr. Sonny Rush, Cleve Gathright, Spike Watts, Hardy Graham, Jim Thomson and Harvey Shirley. Honorary pallbearers will be Guy Purvis, Raymond Burns, Buddy Herring, Rev. Tim Smith, David Burns and the members of the Round Table Investment Club.
