Alcyon Richey Services for Alcyon Richey will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Sellers officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Collinsville, MS. Mrs. Richey, 87, of Meridian, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Golden Living Center. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Marsha Hanson and her husband Ed of Pensacola, FL, Jonathan Richey and his wife Priscilla of Meridian; grandchildren, Robert Athey of Pensacola, FL and Katharine Richey of Meridian; sister, Euba Edwards of Memphis, TN; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Clayton Richey; children, Infant Boy, son, Clayton Richey, Jr; brothers, J.A., Abston and Glenn Dix; sisters, Inez, Gertrude and Clara Mae; parents, James Albert Dix and Myrtle Elizabeth Sanderson.
