Alford "Al" Harper Funeral service for Alford "Al" Harper will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Followell and Reverend Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Old Marion Cemetery. Mr. Harper, age 83, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at his home. Survivors include his wife, Helen Harper; two daughters, Linda Westbrook and Joan Andrews; one son, William Bud Harper; seven grandsons; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Harper; and three sisters, Fredna Sullivan, Jewel Watts, and Kathryn High. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Frances Harper; brother, David Harper.
