Graveside services for Alice Slayton will be Monday, May 18, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Semmes Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Alice Fay Warren Slayton, 81, of Meridian, MS, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 at her home.

Alice was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend her free time gardening. Alice also was a lover of all animals.

She is survived by her children; John Slayton, Tony Slayton, and Jill Sharp (Mike); three grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Slayton Sr., infant son, Shawn Lee Slayton; mother, Thelma Smith Warren; siblings, Johnny, Earl, Charlie, Ronnie, Peggy, Frances, and Rita.
