Alice Slayton

Mrs. Alice Fay Warren Slayton, 81, of Meridian, MS, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 at her home.

Alice was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend her free time gardening. Alice also was a lover of all animals.

She is survived by her children; John Slayton, Tony Slayton, and Jill Slayton Sharp; three grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Slayton Sr., infant son, Shawn Lee Slayton; mother, Thelma Smith Warren; siblings, Johnny, Earl, Charlie, Ronnie, Peggy, Frances, and Rita.
