Mr. Allen Clearman Services for Mr. Allen Clearman will be held Monday, December 13, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Lamar Lifer officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Clearman, of Meridian, age 92, died Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Queen City Nursing Center. Mr. Clearman was a veteran of World War II, where he served as a Marine in the Pacific Theater. He also retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Drew Clearman, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a son, Allen Clearman, Jr., of Hattiesburg, MS, a daughter, Sharon Seal, and her husband Dr. A. Otis Seal, of Meridian, a step-daughter, Harriet Tucker Walters and her husband Larry of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His grandchildren include Susan Clearman Wright, of Wiggins, MS, Rob Seal, Dr. Alison Moore and her husband Terry, of Meridian, Clare Brewer and her husband Kevin, of Hattiesburg, MS, and Jeremy Walters, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His great-grandchildren include Hawk Seal, Jenna Seal, Jax Moore, Marlee Brewer, Joiner Brewer, Michael Crowe, and Bryan Lummus, and a sister-in-law, Will Clearman, of Meridian. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Gene Connell Clearman, his daughter, Donna Gene Clearman, his parents, Eddie and Mamie Collier Clearman, his brother, Floyd Clearman, and his sisters, Kathleen Clearman Thurman, Grace Clearman Harris, and Ruth Clearman Fowler. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Calvary Christian School. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 12, 2010, from 5:00-8:00 P.M., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rob Seal, Terry Moore, Kevin Brewer, Al Fowler, Reverend Charles Fowler, and Hawk Seal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Schroeder and Lawrence Hunter.
