Alma Louvine Flaskamp Alma Louvine Flaskamp , 88, formerly of Cumberland, MD, went to her eternal resting place with the Lord and the lover of her life , her husband Norman on January 5, 2013. She died at her home in Meridian, Mississippi with her son Ralph and his family at her side. Ms. Flaskamp was a homemaker who loved cooking, sewing, crafts, and gardening. Born Alma Louvine Harper on April 17, 1924 in Mt. Storm, West Virginia, she was one of five children born to the late Boyd Lee Harper and Nyanza Belle Biser Harper. She was also preceded in death by her husband Norman E.Flaskamp Sr., one son, Norman E. Rick Flaskamp Jr., one sister, Marguerite Blume, and two brothers, Robert and Earl Harper. She is survived by three sons, the Reverend Ralph Flaskamp and his wife Frances "Pam" of Meridian, MS, George Flaskamp of Cumberland, MD, and Mark Flaskamp of Port Richey, FL, one brother, Floyd Harper of Cumberland, MD, 13 Grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Visitation will be held on Monday January 7at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home from 5-8p.m. and then Visitation will again be held on Thursday January 10th at Adams Family Funeral Home in Cumberland, MD from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Friday with a family ceremony at the gravesite.
