Almogene Tims Culpepper

Funeral services for Almogene Culpepper will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Martin Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Culpepper, age 86, of the Whynot Community passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Specialty Hospital.

Mrs. Culpepper retired from Citizens National Bank and was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the group that Quilts at Bethany Baptist Church and had quilted some 380 quilts.

She is survived by her brother, Byron Tims of Florida; nieces and nephews, Cindy Barker, Patsy Hopkins (Charles), Sammy Culpepper (Brenda), Dale Tims, Clarke Tims, Levin Culpepper Jr. and Michelle Helton; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Culpepper and her parents, Odie and Rilla Fuller Tims.

Pallbearers will be Tim Rutledge, Kyle Rutledge, Toby Barker, Steve Culpepper, Clarke Tims, and Tommy Lee Watson.
