Alton C. Snowden Services for Alton C. Snowden will be Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Davis and Reverend Wayne Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Snowden, 67, of Hattiesburg died Thursday, April 21, 2011 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He was a member of the 1962 graduating class of Center Hill High School and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Mr. Snowden was a member of Sometimes Sam Camping Club and also a member of Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Bertie "Bea" Snowden of Hattiesburg, a daughter Amber Seyfarth and husband Gary of Hattiesburg, a son Zachary Snowden of Hattiesburg, three grandchildren Payton Seyfarth, Lauren Seyfarth and Stephaine Snowden, two sisters Edna Lashane of Meridian, Agnes Skelton and husband Larry of Florence, and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents James Odell Snowden and Eva Williams Snowden. Pallbearers will be the 1962 graduating class of Center Hill High School.
