Amelia "Mimi" Nohra Sadka (01/17/1916 10/21/13) Amelia "Mimi" Nohra Sadka, 97, of Bossier City, LA went to be with Jesus on October 21, 2013, peacefully in her sleep. Funeral services will be held at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in Meridian, Mississippi on October 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services to follow at Magnolia cemetery. Amelia or "Mimi", as she was known, spent her life caring for others. Her happiness came from time spent with the ones she loved. She was a devout catholic, devoted loyal wife to her husband Joe, a proud, loving mother to her children, and a loving, caring, cherished grandmother to her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Even though her loss will be felt greatly by her family we thank God for the many years we had with her. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" Matthew 5:8. Mimi was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph J. Sadka. She is survived by her sons, Bill Sadka and wife Pat of Bossier City, LA, Dick Sadka of Katy, TX, daughter Linda Jesson and husband Stan of Cumming, GA. Her six grandchildren, Kyle Jesson, Stefanie McGinnis and husband Matt, Laura Richard and husband Dan, Sarah Sadka, Lauren Sadka, Sydnie Sadka, and her two great-grandchildren Ethan and Caleb Richard. Pallbearers will be Al Brown, Kyle Jesson, Dewey Sadka, Jr., Irby Lang, and Ray Slayton. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4: 7 8.
