Anita Faye Glass Thompson

Funeral services for Anita Thompson will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Donald Gentry officiating. Burial will follow at Arkadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson, 77, of Klondike, passed away November 17 at her home.

Anita was a teacher at West Lauderdale school for thirty-two years. She was very involved in her church as a pianist, Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was a former member of the EDA Board of Kemper County. Anita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. One of her greatest joys were family trips to the mountains.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Bobby J. Thompson; daughters, Karon Vick and husband, Jay, of Bailey, Cristy Moffett and husband, Joey, and Cathy Gordon and husband, Brian, all of Collinsville; grandchildren, Kyle Vick and wife, Kim, Jessica Vick, Haleigh Moffett, Jordan Vick, Josie Gordon, Megan Moffett and Brett Gordon; great-grandchildren, Josh Randall and Deakon Vick; sister, Lynda Miller and husband, Perry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jay Vick, Joey Moffett, Brian Gordon, Kyle Vick, Brett Gordon, and Perry Pace.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 18 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
