Ann B. Royal Memorial services for Ann B. Royal will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 at 11:00 at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator, with Reverends Helen Tester and Steve Owen officiating. Burial will be in the church columbarium with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Ms. Royal, 86, of Meridian, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Bedford Care Center. She was a homemaker and a member of The Episcopal Church of the Mediator. In her younger years, Ms. Royal enjoyed directing several plays at the Meridian Little Theatre and has appeared in two movies. She was the former wife of Lloyd Royal, Sr. for twenty four years. He was the father of her children. Survivors include her daughter, Allison Slayton and her husband Thomas L. of Meridian; sons, Monte Royal and his wife Connie of Meridian, Randy Royal and his wife Susan of Bailey; sister, Mattie Joe Roberts of Collinsville; seven grandchildren, Kim Gibson, Erin Royal, Stacey Pollock, Chip Slayton, Lee Slayton, Kelly Royal and Chris Robinson; six great-grandchildren, Bennett and Davis Gibson, Olivia Pollock, Collins Pollock, Campbell Slayton and Britney Robinson.
