Ann Murdock Vincent

Graveside services for Mrs. Ann Murdock Vincent will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Magnolia Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. Brian Rushing officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Vincent, 91, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Ann faithfully attended Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church where she was a member for over 30 years. She began her working career at Shell Oil Company in Jackson, MS before meeting and marrying Jim Vincent; together they would spend over 60 years of marriage together until his passing in 2016. They enjoyed traveling regionally together and shared a love of shopping for and collecting antique leaded cut glass. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in her spare time.

Mrs. Vincent is survived by her son, William Vincent; her nieces Cathy Lockley (Stan) and Faye Jones; and her nephew John Vincent (Lucy) as well as a host of friends and extended family members.

Mrs. Ann is preceded in death by her husband James O. “Jim” Vincent; her parents William and Lydia Murdock; as well as her brother, Robert Murdock.

The Vincent family suggests memorials be made as donations to French Camp Academy located at 1 Fine Pl, French Camp, MS 39745, or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital located at 262 Danny Thomas Pl Memphis, TN 38105 in lieu of flowers.
