Anna Munn Bennett

Funeral services for Ms. Anna Munn Bennett will begin at 10:00 am Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Paul Davis officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Collinsville, MS.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Ms. Bennett, 30, of Collinsville, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Anna was born November 14, 1988, in Meridian, Mississippi.  She graduated from West Lauderdale High School and East Central Community College.  She then pursued her nursing degree through Meridian Community College and found her dream of being a Registered Nurse and working with infants in the NICU at Anderson’s Hospital.  Anna loved cheerleading, as exemplified through her years as a cheerleader for West Lauderdale and East Central and then coaching for UCA.

Anna was the sweetest, kindest, and most loving daughter, sister, and friend. Above all, Anna was an amazing mother to her daughter, Lila. She was raising Lila to be a strong, caring woman just like herself. Anna was intelligent, athletic, and a wonderful NICU nurse. She loved the Lord with all her heart. The number of people she impacted was immeasurable, and those people will never be the same without her.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Lila Catherine Bennett; parents, W.I and Clara Munn; brother, Ike Munn (Lindsey); sister, Shelley Borghi. Niece, Emerson Elizabeth Munn, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Anna is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Andre Borghi; paternal grandparents, Winfred and Norma Munn; maternal grandparents, Edward and June McMillan.

The family suggests memorials be made as donations to March of Dimes in lieu of flowers.
