Anne Jellenc Funeral services for Mrs. Jellenc will be held at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., with Eli Jellenc and Pastor Brad Sliger co-officiating. The burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Clarke County. Anne Jellenc (neé Shirley) completed her journey through this life on March, 20, 2015. Having enjoyed the previous night visiting, laughing, and storytelling with her family, she passed away just after dawn. Her last moments of awareness were of her dreams. Mrs. Jellenc, 88, was a native of Clarke County and longtime resident of Meridian. Anne was widely known a wise and trusted counselor to her family and friends, whose lives she enriched and supported continuously and expertly. Anne was always passionate in cultivating her flower garden for which she won several awards. She was also an impressive seamstress, cook, and archivist of family history. Anne is survived by her son, Steve A. Jellenc and his wife, Lynn; by her daughter, Canda "Candy" Jellenc; by her grandson, Eli Jellenc and his wife, Sarah; by her granddaughter, Stephannie; by her sister, Fredna Powell; finally, by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Jellenc, and by five siblings. Friends and family may sign an online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
