Services for Annette W. Moore will be held Tuesday, at 3:00p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church, with Reverend Rob Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Moore, 72, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her residence. She was retired from Work Book Encyclopedia as a Regional Manager. Mrs. Moore was affectionately known as Grannette by her grandchildren and many others. She was an active member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church for over forty years. She served her Lord faithfully. She was well loved by the many children whose hearts she touched. She taught Sunday school, helped with Vacation Bible School, coached the youth softball teams, and sang for many years in the choir. Mrs. Moore loved participating in the 50+, as well as the XYZ's at Central United Methodist Church. She served in many capacities with the United Methodist Women, as a circle member, president of local UMW, as well as on a District Capacity. She was very involved with the Lauderdale and Mississippi Republican Women. She was an avid gardener, being a Master Gardener, a member of the Day-Lilly Club, as well as the Ben Arthur Davis Garden Club. In recent years, she had been a member of the Obadiah Homemaker's Club. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Moore of Plano, TX, Gigi Sinyard and her husband, James of Brandon, MS, and Angel Sparkman of Lander, WY, five grandchildren: Grady Sinyard, Mary Hailey Sinyard, Jordan Sparkman, Erin Sparkman, and Jack Sparkman, sisters, Janice Reed and her husband, Raymond of Louisville, MS, Bobbie Nell Moore of Louisville, MS and Teresa Jenkins, of Louisa VA. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Moore and her brothers, D.B. Williamson, Jr. and Clement Williamson. The family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church, or to the Jeff Moore Scholarship. Pallbearers will be Corey Mabry, David Hodge, Grady Sinyard, Jay Sinyard, Bill Allen, Carl Watts, Merkel Goldman, Dwayne Psencik, Jesse Graham, Josh Daw, and Paul Warren. Visitation will be held Monday, from 5:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
