Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Judy will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard Allen "Hoot" Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Annie Ruth Barnes Judy, age 81, of Collinsville, MS, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at The Oaks Rehab of Meridian, MS after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Annie worked for many years as a salesperson and manager in the shoe sales industry throughout Meridian.

She had a passion for all types of art which included painting and photography. Annie also liked being outdoors working in her flower garden. She loved to travel all over the world, but her favorite destination was to Cade's Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains to try to capture bears on her camera. She would literally jump out of the car and chase bears into the woods.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Wilbur "Butch" Judy; children, William "Billy" E. Judy (Lori), and Traci Judy; grandchildren, Patience Judy and Heather Godwin (Ryan); and one great-grandson, Rhett Godwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William Porter Barnes and Ruth Irene Barnes as well as her three sisters.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 - 10:45 prior to the funeral service.
