Anthony Scott Dixon Services for Anthony Scott Dixon will be Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverends Steve Taylor and Jack Kern officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Dixon, 32, of Meridian died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a graduate of Southeast High School and was employed with Ensco offshore. Mr. Dixon was a member of Russell Baptist Church and will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, friend and the best uncle in the whole wide world. Survivors include his wife Pamela Chatham Dixon of Meridian, his children Parker, Reagan, and Braden Dixon of Meridian, parents Shirley Hosea Reece and Robby Reece of Meridian and Roger Dixon of Tuscaloosa, brothers Joey Tanner and wife Pam of Meridian, Marc Tanner of Meridian, Roman Dixon and wife Ashley of Birmingham, Roger Dixon Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Shawn Reece and wife Roxanne of Jackson, his precious grandparents T. C. and Eulene Dixon of Thomasville, aunt Trisha Dixon of Jackson, AL and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Best friends Chad Riley of Meridian, Joey Oliver of Orlando, FL, Casey Dickerson of Meridian and a host of other dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lonnie and Sadie Hosea, Walter and Nancy Reece, an aunt Linder Moon, uncles Clyde Hosea and Shelton Hosea. The family requests memorial be made to Anthony Scott Dixon Memorial Fund for his children at First Mississippi Federal Credit Union. Special thanks to Dr. Reece Jones and Anderson Cancer Center, the nurses and staff at Anderson Regional Medical Center 4 East and Ensco Oil Family. Pallbearers will be Joey Tanner, Marc Tanner, Roman Dixon, Chad Riley, Joey Oliver, and Casey Dickerson.
