Services for Artis Geneva Brewer Pierce will be held Saturday December 12, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends James Rich and Sam Raper officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home officiating. A meal will be provided after the service at Peace Tabernacle Revival Center (1609 Tommy Webb Drive). Mrs. Pierce, 84 years and 10 months, of Meridian, died December 10, 2009 at Regency Hospital. She was a member of Peace Tabernacle Revival Center and a lifelong housewife. Survivors include her husband, Charles Grayson Pierce, of Meridian, Son, Reverend Charles Pierce Jr., and his wife Beverly, of Meridian, three grandchildren, Bryan Pierce and his wife Carla, Grayson Pierce, and his wife Amber, LaJuana Gray and her husband Shawn ,all of Meridian, seven great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nashton, Natalie, Nevyn, Trey, Memphis, and Rivaley Pierce, all of Meridian, one brother, Huey Brewer, of Meridian, sisters Evelyn Garrett of Bloomington, IL, and Audi Mae Constantine, of Mobile, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents Jackson and Ella Brewer, and two brothers, Newton and Lowell Brewer. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 at the Funeral Home.
