Graveside services for Ashley Carroll Hensley will be held Friday, November 25th 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Dr. John Temple officiating and Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Ashley Carroll Hensley, age 48, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at her residence.

Ashley graduated high school with honors from West Lauderdale High School and graduated from University for Woman, where she was on the Presidents List and was a class representative. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and continued her education with a masters in counseling. After graduation, Ashley was an RN at Carraway Methodist Medical Center.

Survivors include her parents, Billy and Billie Joyce Carroll; sister, Tiffany McBryde; aunts and uncles, Dr. Jimmy Griffith, LaNell Griffith, Glenn Anderson, Mary Anderson, John Paul Carroll, and Debbie Carroll, as well as several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Hensley; grandparents, William and Hazel Oakes and John and Lona Carroll.

The family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
