Aubert Orien Poole

Funeral services for Aubert Orien Poole will begin Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Gerald Chaney officiating. Burial will be at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Poole, age 86, of Collinsville passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Poole was born and reared in Lauderdale County and was a lifelong resident of West Lauderdale Community. He was a 1948 graduate of Center Hill High School. After graduating he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was also in the National Guard 186th division.  He was employed in the transportation industry for 46 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Turnage Poole; son, Ed Poole and his wife, Rhonda; daughters, Sheila Robinson Frazier and her husband, Ken, Cheryl Poole Waltman and her husband, Walt, and Charlotte Poole Chaney, and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Tera Robinson Murphy, husband, Jeffery, Mitch Robinson, Troy Robinson, wife Megan, Jess Waltman, Lane Waltman, Jacy Waltman, Victoria Poole Nosco, husband Charlie, Alex Poole, Shelby Chaney, Darby Chaney; greatgrandchildren, Brayden Murphy, Connor Murphy, Savannah Robinson, and Sawyer Robinson; and his brother, Erskine Poole, and his wife, Eunice; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Dora Bounds Poole; sister, Doris Poole Boykin, and her husband, Ross; and son-in-law, Michael Jetson Robinson.

Pallbearers will be Troy Robinson, Jess Waltman, Lane Waltman, Charlie Nosco, Tim Poole, Chris Poole.

Honorary pallbearer is Sonny Swearingen.
