Austin Duncan

Funeral services for Mr. Austin Duncan will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Jonathan Tullos and Brother David Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Austin Duncan, age 76, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away February 16, 2019.

Mr. Duncan was born January 16, 1943 in Heavener, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired after 24 years as a Senior Chief. Following his service in the Navy, he continued to serve in the Civil Service where he taught aerodynamics and flight instruction for 21 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janice Duncan; his children, Kelly Menard (Roger) and Keith Duncan (Kathy); his grandchildren, David Najera (Jessy), Jennifer Menard, Sydney Duncan, Alex Duncan, Timothy Duncan, and Jordan Duncan; three great-grandchildren, Haley, Hayden, Parker; and his siblings, Wilmer Duncan (Sonya) and Carol Cook (Dave).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Genevieve Wiles, Dorothy Meeks, Lex Duncan, and Clarice Jeanette Duncan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with Wounded Warriors or the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
