Barbara Jean Davis Graveside services for Barbara Jean Davis will be held Tuesday at 10:00 at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery, with Reverend Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Bethany cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Davis, age 70, of Meridian died Friday July 16, 2010 at her residence. She was retired from Anderson Hospital where she worked as a cashier. Survivors Include a daughter, Gail Griffin and her husband Shannon of Meridian, her sons, Bill Davis and his wife Christa of Burlington, NC, and Tommy Davis and his wife Barbara of Meridian, her grandchildren, Trent Posey and his wife Laura of Meridian, Taylor Griffin of Meridian, Will Davis and his wife Britanee of Fort Walton, FL, Ryan Davis of Atlanta, GA, Lilyana Davis of Burlington, NC, Brandon Davis and Kevin Davis of Meridian, two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Ava Davis of Fort Walton, FL, and a cousin, Becky Coborn and her husband Scott. Also a special friend, Brenda Clay Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Davis, and her son, James Davis. Pallbearers include her grandson's Trent Posey, Brandon Davis, Kevin Davis, and her friends Scott Coborn, Herman Russell and Lamar Branning. Visitation will be Monday, July 19, 2010, at 5:00-7:30 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
