Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Finton will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 1:00pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Laird officiating. A private family burial will follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Barbara Ann Beavers Finton, age 78, of Meehan, MS passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

First and foremost, Barbara loved her family fiercely. To know her was to know pure love. She was 1st Corinthians 13:4-8 in living form. She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called her Mamaw. Barbara was an excellent cook, and you never left her house hungry. She loved to sew, crochet, and quilt. Her family will cherish the many quilts, afghans, and Christmas stockings that she made for them. Later in life, you could find her doing word search books and playing cards. She could play a mean card game of Tonk!

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Harris (Hilton), son-in-law, Derwin Harris, grandchildren; Chris Harris (Nikki), Patrick Harris (Jada), Shelby Boles (Josh), Sarah Williams (Carter), Noah Harris, and Caleb James "C.J." Harris, great-grandchildren; Kaylee Alise Harris, John Carter Williams, Emma Jo Harris, Mason James Williams, Jordan Grace Williams, and Jack Lawson Harris, special sister-in-law, Yvonne Larimore (Dale), and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was greeted in heaven by her husband, James Howard Finton, daughter, Tammy Jo Harris, her parents; Raymond and Blanche Beavers, and two brothers; Wayne Beavers and Buddy Beavers.

Pallbearers will be Chris Harris, Patrick Harris, Noah Harris, C.J. Harris, Josh Boles, and Carter Williams, with Kevin Garner serving as Honorary Pallbearer.
