Barbara Ann King

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara King will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Spring Hill United Methodist Church (6614 Zero Road, Meridian, MS 39301) at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Paul Raley and Brother Trevor Gore officiating. Burial will follow at the Spring Hill UMC Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. King, age 69, of Meridian passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at her residence.

She was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church. For many years, Mrs. King worked for Olan Mills Photography. She dearly loved her family. She enjoyed gardening and working outside. Mrs. King was the oldest living Type I Diabetic in the state of Mississippi.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, James A. “Tudor” King; children, Patrick (Darlene) McKean, Lindsay Anne Ratkowiak; step-children, Scarlett Elizabeth Stevens, Susan Carla (Steve) Walton, and George Raymond (Donna) King; grandchildren, Kyle Patrick McKean, Jacob Alexander McKean, Logan Reed Ratkowiak, Wynter Baylley Ratkowiak, Laurel Bailey McKean, Adam Tyler McKean, and Tristan Marley Stafford; one great-grandchild, Amberlynn Rose Kolenda; thirteen step-grandchildren; siblings, Bob Newburn and Joy Travis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Joe Scott, Adam Boldin, Hal Thompson, Frank Davidson, and Marvin McCollum.
