Graveside services for Barbara Ann Sowers will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Harvey Troutman officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Barbara Ann Sowers, age 52, of Meridian passed away Saturday, July 02, 2016 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Barbara attended Meridian Community College. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Meridian and was a longtime employee of Village
Western Wear in Meridian. Barbara loved her family. Her daughter was her heart! Her favorite pastime activities were working in her yard and decorating her house.

Survivors include her daughter, Monica Sowers; mother, Edith Hamner; step-father, Kenny Hamner; sister, Angie Covington; brothers, Donald Covington and Ken Hamner; several nieces and nephews; and a special brother-in-law, Brian McDevitt.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Covington Sr. and grandparents, Cleve and Mary Weaver.

The family request memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Craddock, Jay Craddock, Nick Craddock, Wayne Warren, Clayton Lancaster, and Ray Boren.
