Barry Lee Meierbachtol Services for Barry Lee Meierbachtol will be held Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Meierbachtol, 63, of Meridian died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Rush Hospital. He served for twenty years in the United States Navy as an Naval Air Traffic Controller. After Mr. Meierbachtol's retirement from the Navy he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. Barry was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He loved to hunt, fish, read, watch movies and play poker, but most of all cherished the time he spent with his wife, Tess. Survivors include his beloved wife, Tess Meierbachtol of Meridian; son Zachary T. Meierbachtol of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Jessica M. Case and husband William of Hattiesburg; mother, Jean Meierbachtol of Mesa, Arizona; brother Bruce Meierbachtol and wife Cindy of Iowa; and sister-in-law Jean Meierbachtol of South Dakota. He is also survived by his niece Erin, nephews Nathan and Garrett, and his extended family, the Cacatians. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy L. Meierbachtol, father, Ernst Meierbachtol and brothers, Brian and Glen Meierbachtol. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
