Barry Wayne Pope

Graveside services for Barry Pope will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Dixons Mills, Alabama with O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in charge of the service.

Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Pope, age 62, of Meridian passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Barry was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time hunting and fishing at his river camp house in Alabama.

He is survived by his daughters, Casey Pope and Lindsey Pope; grandchildren, Ali Odom, Austin Odom, and Aubreigh Whelchel; mother, Rebecca Jones Huckabee; siblings, Charlotte Pope Buckner, Kathy Pope Hunt, Tony Pope, Phil Pope, Lisa Hill, and Angela Reeves; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Russell Pope.
