Funeral services for Ben “Bo” Everett Pierce will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Curt Pace officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Mr. Pierce, age 88, of Meridian, passed away November 2, 2017 at James T. Champion Nursing Home.

Ben “Bo” Pierce was born on March 24, 1929 to Willie and Arie Pierce . A native of House Community, MS, he lived most of his life in Meridian, MS. Bo served two years in the United States Army and went on to become an electrician and operated his own business, Pierce Electric Company for over 40 years.

Bo was a quiet, gentle man who never missed a ballgame, never said a harsh word, and never put himself before anyone else. He loved hunting, traveling, watching his grandchildren play ball, and his greatest love was his family.

He is survived by his brothers, Charles and Jimmie Pierce; his children, Kay Pierce, Kim Garrett (Mike), Lori Davis (Greg), and Phil Pierce (Penny), and his grandchildren, Josh Thompson (Amanda), Jeremiah Lovett (Holly), Bo Davis (Baleigh), Austin Davis, and Payton Pierce, and his great grandchildren, Marley, Ryan, River, Emma, and Waylon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arie and Willie Pierce and his sisters Pauline Beason and Willie Faye Gardner.

Pallbearers will be Josh Thompson, Jeremiah Lovett, Bo Davis, Payton Pierce, Austin Davis, Norman Driskell, and Dan Pierce.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 9:00 till 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
