Ben Harmon

Funeral services for Mr. Ben Harmon will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Trevor Gore officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ben Harmon, age 82, passed away on February 15, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Ben was born August 30, 1936 in Meridian to the late Elliott Travis and Elsie Harmon.  He retired after twenty-one years of service in the Army, serving in Korea and Vietnam.  He also retired from Kerr-McGee Chemical Company in Meridian after forty-five years.

Ben is survived by his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Mrs. Billie Harmon; his daughters, Lorie Lynn Harmon, Elizabeth Ann Coleman (Bo), and Pearl Harmon (Greg); five grand-children; and eight great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Doris Jeannie Roberson, Dallas Chamberlee, Wilma Kynerd, and Mary Gibson.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Pat Pilgrim, and a father-figure, Jack Satcher.

Visitation will be Monday, February 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
