Funeral Services for Mr. Ben Leake will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Will Wall officiating. The Leake Family will receive guests from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the funeral home. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Leake, 50, of Meridian, died Friday, October 10, 2025, at his home following a sudden cardiac event.
Ben is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Shea Brewer Leake; their children, Jacob Leake (Mary Wansley), Mallory Claire Leake, and Lindsey Leake; his parents, Raymon and Gloria Leake; his in-laws, Tommy and Marcia Brewer; his sisters, Jennifer Kasselman (Heath) and Amy Johnson (Daniel); his brothers-in-law, Matthew Brewer (Elizabeth) and Elliot Brewer (Betsy); nieces and nephews, Jenna Kasselman, Jed Kasselman, Ethan Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Jane Kasselman, Wyatt Anderson, Elizabeth Johnson, Kylie Paige Anderson, Mitchell Brewer, Caroline Brewer, William Brewer, and Beau Brewer, Great-grandmother-in-law, Frances Dickson, as well as a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ben had a heart for people. He loved his family and friends so fiercely, but also showed it daily in the workplace: first as a CT tech, and then as an ER nurse. He didn’t care for the bureaucracy of healthcare, but focused solely on caring for his patients. He loved loving on people in their time of need. Big or small need, you could count on Ben.
Ben is preceded in death by his grandparents Leo and Camille Leake, and Carrol and Hazel Campbell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lee Neal, Van Dees, Scott Powers, Jason Ratcliff, Chad Boudreaux, Steven Wood, Dusty Sorrels, Coby Scarbrough, Reagan Stockstill, Jason Pigott, Jeremy Stockstill, Walter Rogers, and Adam Foreman.
The Leake Family requests that memorials be made as donations to First Baptist Church, Meridian, in lieu of floral offerings.
