Bennett Jackson “Jack” Williams

Graveside services for Bennett Jackson Williams will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Sageville United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Pam Randall officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Williams, age 68, of Macon, formerly of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

Jack was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from BellSouth/AT&T after 38 years.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Pamela Moffett Williams; daughters, Angela Williams Urquhart (Thomas) of Fort Worth, TX, and Michelle Williams Wilkerson (Bill) of Bailey, MS; granddaughter, Margaret Emerson Urquhart; brother, Randall Williams (Teresa) of Meridian, MS; and nieces, Katherine Williams and Anna Williams both of Meridian, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson S. Williams and Doris Gaddis Williams, and granddaughter, Kristen Taylor Wilkerson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Williams, Martin Gaddis, Benjamin Gaddis, David Gaddis, Gilbert Gaddis, Scott Gaddis, and Charles (Sonny) Wiggins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
