Bennie Lamar Chesney Services for Bennie Lamar Chesney will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Lamar Lifer and Dr. Dan Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery, Neshoba, County, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Chesney, 81, of Collinsville, passed away, Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Riley Hospital. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Meridian, for over 20 years and had lived in Collinsville, MS for over nine years. Mr. Chesney served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include, his wife of 55 years, Mavis Chesney; son, Mitchel L. Chesney; granddaughters, Kim Hollie and her husband Andie of Fort Worth, TX, Jennifer McGlothin and husband, Raymon of Meridian, MS, Aimee Chesney of Meridian, great granddaughters, Emma Faith Hollie of Forth Worth, TX, Ava Grace Brown of Meridian, MS; great grandson, Princton McGlothin of Meridian, MS; sisters, Ellen Hodges and husband, Allen of Meridian, Loteal Burchfield and husband Alton of Jackson, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie L. Chesney; mother, Hattie Chesney and brother, Sammie Chesney. Pallbearers will be Val Moore, Leonard Dean, Steve Dean, Andy Hollie, Wayne Schultz, Tommy Hitt, and William Hodges. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Bearers, Kim Hollie, Jennifer McGlothin and Aimee Chesney. Family and friends may sign online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
