Bennie D. Collins

A memorial service for Mr. Bennie D. Collins will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Allen Carr will officiate the service. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Collins, age 88, of Meridian passed away on February 13, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Collins served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed playing and singing bluegrass. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy L. Collins; brother, Gene Collins; sister, Linda Barousse; sisters-in-law, Margaret Whitlock, Ellen Wilkerson, and Faye Webb; brother-in-law, Lynn Limerick (Linda); numerous nieces and nephews; and his caregiver, Peggy Cure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, B.W. and Lillie Collins; sister, Bernice Bonner; and his brothers, Leroy and Marion.
