Funeral services for Mr. Bernard Linton will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Springhill United Methodist Church in Zero, MS, with Rev. Trevor Gore officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Bernard Noel Linton, age 81, of Meridian, MS passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Alabama Hospice Family Care of Huntsville, AL, surrounded by his loving family. Bernard was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force National Guard, proudly serving in the 186th Civil Engineering Squadron. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Marilyn Gibson Linton; his three daughters; Karen Linton Thrash, Kristye Linton Smith (Chuck) and Kathye Linton Ramsey (Clark), his grandchildren; Christopher Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Lauren Thrash, Taylor Ramsey Clark (Ryan), Morgan Ramsey, Savannah Thrash, and one great granddaughter Caroline Clark; sister-in-law Nell Linton, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur and Lina Linton, his brothers; Carl, Horace, Royce, and Donnell. Pallbearers will be Clark Ramsey, Chuck Smith, Christopher Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Deiter Gibson and Derek Gibson. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the church prior to the funeral service.
