Bessie Higgins Chandler

Funeral services for Mrs. Chandler will be held Sunday, August 13 at 2:30p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Belcher and Bro. Buddy Cox officiating. Burial will be Rose Hill Cemetery in Meridian, MS.

Mrs. Chandler, age 92, of Meridian passed away Thursday August 10 at her residence.

She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church for over thirty years. Mrs. Chandler was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her children, Randy (Cathy) Chandler, Danny Chandler, Barbara (Brad) Richardson, and Ricky (Lana) Chandler; son-in-law, Buddy Cox; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert “Jim” Chandler; children, Judy Cox and Jimmy (Carol) Chandler; one granddaughter; and five siblings.

Pallbearers will be the deacons of Calvary Baptist Church.
