Services for Bessie N. Richardson will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. at Robert Barham Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Chancelor and Brad Sliger officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Monday September 5, at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Ms. Richardson, 65 of Meridian died Saturday September 3, 2011 at Anderson South Hospital. Ms. Richardson was a member of Russell Baptist Church. Survivors include mother Marilyn Powell of Ward AL. daughters Glenda Linton and Donna Herrin of Meridian. Sisters Camilla Lewis of Sweetwater AL, Ruth Sheffield of Cuba AL, Becky Breazeale of Fairhope AL. Brothers Rev. Norman Powell , of Vilonia Ark. Freeman Powell, of Hiron TN. Grandchildren Heather Holloman and Husband Brent of Meridian, Daniel Linton and wife Analynn of Meridian and Zacharey Richardson of Meridian. She was preceded in death by Husband Donald Richardson and father Norman Powell. Pallbearers will be Brent Hollowman, Brad Sliger, honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Linton, Zacharey Richardson and Calvary Christian High School Football team and Cheerleaders.
