Funeral services for Betty Crocker will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Ms. Betty Ruth Crocker, age 83, of Bailey passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at home.

Ms. Crocker knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She devoted her life to her daughters but also had a career in retail and bookkeeping, retiring from Golden Flake in 1989. She loved music, sang in a quartet as a young woman and learned to play the organ late in life. She had a gift for making flowers and plants grow and earned a certificate in floral arrangement. Her sweetness enriched the lives of those around her.

Survivors include her children, Paula Flynn (Donnie), Michelle Moseley (Charles) and Sheila Ballard (Keith); grandchildren, Brandon Moseley, William Moseley (Heather), Brian Flynn, and Bruce Flynn; great-grandchildren, James Moseley and Mia Moseley; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice “Rip” Crocker; parents, John and Annie Nix; siblings, Lovella Thompson, Henry Nix, Robert Nix, Clyde Nix, Lorene Nix, Irene Jackson, Mary Carruba, Liddie Pace, Clara Fowler, and Jack Nix.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Mack Phillips, Eddie Odom, David Teague, Danny Ray Garrett and Wayne Raley.
