Graveside services for Betty Hickman will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Davie Wilkinson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hickman, age 79, of Toomsuba, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

She graduated from Berry High School in Berry, Alabama. She retired from Northeast Lauderdale Elementary School after over 20 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Hickman-Garrett; son, Chip Madison; grandson, Logan Garrett; and sister, Carol Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Hickman; son, Darrell Hickman; parents, Riley and Brazzie Sparks; sisters, Loyl Wilson, Juanita Matthews, and Lavada Ann Perkins; brothers, Pete Sparks, Ronald Sparks, and John Sparks.
