Betty Harrell Poythress Services for Betty Harrell Poythress will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Justin Knight officiating. Burial will be Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Poythress, 81, of Meridian died Monday, October 11, 2010 at Infinity Hospice. Survivors include her daughter Susan Gardner and her husband Mike, Son Jimmy Poythress and his wife Pattie. Grandchildren Jeremy Gardner and his wife Sandra of Calera, Al, Daniel Gardner and his wife Brittanie of Meridian, Jacob Gardner, and Hannah Poythress of Meridian; sister Frances Kohls; brothers Ed Harrell and his wife Ola, Bob Harrell and his wife Nancy, Dan Harrell and his wife Barbara, Phil Harrell and his wife Georgia, Bill Harrell and his wife Norma and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Louie Poythress, her parents Alvin and Myra Harrell, and her brothers Jamie Harrell and Everett Harrell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion. Pallbearers will be Daniel Gardner, Jacob Gardner, Oscar Morgan, Mike Sterling, Robert Kelly, and T.W. Calcoate.
