Funeral services for Betty Jean Reynolds will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Bethany Baptist Church with Brother Matthew Johnson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Betty Jean Reynolds, age 91, of Whynot Community passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her home.

Betty was a devout Christian and member of Bethany Baptist Church. She loved Jesus and her family. Betty enjoyed music and playing the piano. One of her favorite things to do was sew. She was a member of a quilting club that made quilts to donate to many good causes including cancer patients, Children’s Village, and hospice patients. Her other hobbies included watching her stories, working in her yard, and cooking. She was known for her Thanksgiving dressing and Hershey cakes. One of everyone’s favorite memories of Betty is her dancing at the weddings of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Jo Ellen Taylor and Larry Reynolds (Cathy); grandchildren, Craig Taylor (Julie), Christal Trigg (Justin), Morgan Reynolds (Sara), Tyler Reynolds, Courtney Vick (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Dakota Trigg, Cady Riley Taylor, Winston Taylor, Jordy Vick, Chuck Reynolds, Hudson Vick, and Rich Reynolds; sister, Mary Ann Harris (David); special friend, Bill Rainer; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Reynolds; late husband, J.C. Miller; parents, Homer and Sadie Davidson; siblings, Jerrell Davidson and Kathy Cates; son-in-law, Al Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Craig Taylor, Morgan Reynolds, Justin Trigg, Tyler Reynolds, Daniel Vick, and Dakota Trigg.
