Betty Johnson Rigdon Graveside services for Betty Johnson Rigdon will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10:00 at Johnson Family Cemetery, with Reverends Aaron Parker and Ben Laird officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Family Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rigdon, 71, of Meehan Community, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at her residence. She was retired from Mississippi State Board of Health and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, W.J. Rigdon of Meehan; daughters, "Susan" Teletha Rigdon, of Meehan, Connie Suttles and her husband, Mark of Meehan; sisters, Louise Clearman and her husband Raymond of Meehan and Frances Williams and her husband Jack of Meehan; grandchildren, Brady Suttles and Cohen Suttles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Sallie Johnson. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to The American Cancer Society or The American Diabetes Association. Pallbearers will be Charles Clearman, Curtis Clearman, Justin Clearman, Edward Strait, Chris Dozier, and Paul Fountain. Family and friends may sign online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
