Memorial services honoring the life of Betty Pierce White will be held Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at 2:30 pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Hwy 39 North. Prior to the service, visitation will begin at 1:30 pm with service beginning at 2:30 pm. Officiating the service will be Bro. Randy Caldwell and Rev. David Hopkins, pastor at Highland Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church immediately after the service. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Betty White, age 81, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her home while sleeping. Betty succumbed as results of End Stage Kidney Failure after three years of dialysis treatments. She was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on September 3, 1942, to Lonnie B. Pierce and Sara Marie Gray Pierce. She was an active member of the Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church where she chaired and served on many committees.
Betty was a Virtuous (Proverbs 31:10-31 NKJV), vibrant, lovable, compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and a loving friend to many. Betty could keep you laughing throughout a conversation with her funny wit. She was a Christian who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and church family. She never met a stranger. Betty retired after thirty years of service with AT&T, as a Communications Service Representative, where she excelled receiving many awards for her sales and work ethics.
Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years William Jerry White, son Robert Gregory White, sister Pegi Pierce Roberts (Ronald), grandchildren William Campbell Partridge, Isabella Ki Horne, Madelyn Shane White and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Betty in death were her daughter, Jeri Suzanne, father, Lonnie B. Pierce and mother, Sara Marie Gray Pierce, brother, Robert Lee Pierce, and sister Patsy Ruth Pierce.
Pallbearers will be Zack Kiehle, David Medlin, Gerald Davidson, Jerry Ray Cumberland, Johnny Cumberland, Richard Daniel. Honorary Pallbearers, Von Burt and Bobby Hardin.
Casual or Work dress is acceptable.
